Nene’s Return Date Still in Question

(Boulder-CO) Nene’s return was originally pegged somewhere around four to six weeks from now. But the latest from Chris Dempsey of The Denver Post is a report which says Nene has been seen by Nuggets trainer Jim Gillen and there is no set date for his return to the hardwood. Dempsey also tallies the number of games Nene has not been available for in the last two years and the sum is quite alarming. So alarming in fact that I’m afraid they made me start conjuring up thoughts of Calvin Natt and LaPhonso Ellis… And such a future for Nene and the Nuggets would be terrible, so let’s hope that Nene is not on that same career course!

Not Nene related (get well soon, big guy), but our boy Linas the Menace is scoring 13 ppg for Lithuania in the Eurobasket tourney. Haven't seen any of the games (don't think if they're televised here), but he's shooting 57% overall and had a 2/2 from deep game, so hopefully his shooting touch is coming back after his late season and playoff droughts.

I've seen him playing against Germany today and he played superb. Solid offense and tough defense on Dirk. He did great.

I live in Germany where the games are aired on national TV. But in case you're not from Europe you can watch some of the games via p2p stream.
visit www.myp2p.eu -> NBA/Basketball and select the game you like to watch. The links are mostly for TVUplayer, TVAnts, PPMate or SopCast.
have fun.
