I remember Larry Jones of the Denver Rockets having a long streak of thirty plus games in the early days of the ABA. Did your record book cover the ABA years of the Denver franchise?
Domino,
Unfortunately my extensive NBA resources do not have a definitive answer for that. I am merely going off what was announced by Chris Marlowe in the previous games and what was being flashed on the Pepsi Center jumbotron. I will be investigating the ABA record as it deserves such attention.

I thought I heard during the broadcast last night that Spencer Haywood averaged over 30 ppg for the Denver Rockets. If true that would be amazing.
livid,
In 1969, Spencer Haywood averaged an even 30.0 points per game. He also was hitting the glass to the tune of 19.5 boards a night. God bless the ABA. Amazing!
Alex English missed averaging 30 points a game by a hair in 1985-86 by averaging 29.8 points a game.
