(Boulder-CO) I’m not sure if there is any other former Nuggets story that I have followed more closely than Chris “Birdman” Andersen’s. The Denver Post’s Benjamin Hochman is reporting today that Andersen will be reinstated into the NBA today and is set to join his former team, the New Orleans Hornets, when he returns.

Hey Doc,
I'm a big big fan of the Birdman. I know he is not a genius or an all-star type of player, but I loved the emotion and competitiveness he used to play with. I've been dreaming of his reinstatement for the whole 2 years he was suspended. His work ethic is one that could inspire the current Nuggets squad. Hope all works out for him in NOLA.
