News on Chucky Atkins

(Boulder-CO) According to today's Rocky Mountain News article by Chris Tomasson, Chucky Atkins was anticipated by George Karl to practice for the first time since sports hernia surgery sidelined him early in the new year. Atkins has played in nine games so far this season averaging four points and two assists.

Agreed. I am still of the opinion that Chucky Atkins was the wrong acquisition for this team.

Looks like we won't be pulling in Tyronn Lue now either..

Yup, I just read those headlines too! Damn, we could have used Lue, but then again, we could have used a lot of people and I'm starting to believe that we should have dealt Kleiza for Artest. As much as it hurts to change my stance, with wisdom, comes the ability to know when you might have been wrong and judging by Kleiza's lack of impact down the stretch the Nuggets would have been wise to probably deal him.

Seems like we're so close to making big moves, but we can't quite make it happen. Dallas and Phoenix are tanking (dropping to 5th and 6th) so let's hope that continues.

Doc, I'm glad you can admit you MIGHT have been wrong. The jury is still out, but Kleiza has been not showing up to play for awhile now. Even JR has learned you can take it to the hoop and pass out to the open man. I just bought an HDTV, but ... losing by 20 points defeats the purpose.
