(Boulder-CO) Happy Leap Year! Today's date is February 29th, and on this day:
'64- Cincinnati Royals teammates Jerry Lucas and Oscar Robertson (my All-Time favorite) combined for a rare 40-40 performance as the Royals defeated the host Philadelphia 76ers 117-114. Rookie of the Year Lucas collected a team-record 40 rebounds and league MVP Robertson tallied 43 points.
