(Boulder-CO) In a move that can only be interpreted as Coach George Karl and management trying to stress defense throughout training camp, the Denver Nuggets have signed 15-year veteran ballhawk Stacey Augmon.
While I wouldn’t expect Stacey to make the final roster cut, (Augmon was out of the NBA last season after playing for the Orlando Magic in 2005-06), if he can come into camp and show J.R. Smith how to move his feet on defense that would make his training camp checks money well spent for the Nuggets.
