More on the J.R. Smith Situation

(Boulder-CO) According to one of my inside sources, there was indeed a, “difference of opinions” between Coach George Karl and guard J.R. Smith during a Nuggets practice and said incident led to J.R. being benched for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.

Now, I’m sure that there will soon be more to this story from the mainstream media, but the main question that I have is how long will J.R. and Coach George Karl continue to be at odds? Other less important inquiries are will J.R. play against the Pistons on Sunday and will George Karl speak through the media on the matter in the next few days to come?
Only time will tell, but I have a feeling this story is just in its infancy.

Yes, I do think that there would be an interest in J.R. out in the wide landscape of the NBA, but the problem is everywhere that he has been he has rubbed the management of those franchises the wrong way. Plus, the Nuggets would be wise to wait and see how Kenyon returns to action to see if there could or should be a package deal put together.

But, for right now, I don't think anyone is going anywhere.
